Pacientes con alteraciones de la coagulación y su manejo odontológico en función del componente alterado del sistema hemostático

Abstract:

Most patients presenting in the dental practice have some kind of altered coagulation. To determine this problem requires a scrupulous clinical and laboratory study. The clinical history has a great significance in the management of any patient, symptoms and signs suggesting bleeding disease can be mainly of two types: the most frequently observed in the alterations of the factors of clotting and those, the commonest in disturbances of primary hemostasis, platelet or vascular. The purpose of this research is to establish the management in dentistry in this type of patients. The most important concepts associated with hemostasis and different pathologies according to the altered component of the hemostatic system be reviewed. The correct way to make the diagnosis of these patients and the right to continue to take into account considerations exist according to each case treatment be indicated
