Pedagogy of Practical Learning in the Architectural Ideation and Communication

Abstract:

In the context of social, cultural, environmental, and technological changes which the new architectural paradigms are going through, our didactic approach in the initiation of the architectural training introduces new problems, temporary references, and the digital media daily in the learning activities. In the introductory workshops in architectural configuration and communication, research and reflection processes are produced, guided by strategies that stimulate the perception and the action. Creative problems solving techniques are incorporated which accelerate processes, increase productivity, and develop expressive resources. The tentative actions, the continuous exploration and experimentation, the processes, in short, are much more important and essential than the results.
