Percepción de docentes acerca de educación en línea en el marco de la emergencia sanitaria Covid-19 Caso 21


Abstract:

Education in times of coronavirus has not stopped, on the contrary, it has migrated to a totally virtual modality in order to continue teaching in a context of health emergency worldwide. However, the Ecuadorian education system was not prepared for this methodology change. This research presents the perceptions of teachers about online learning in the current emerging situation as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This research used an exploratory-descriptive level approach, which was carried out through a questionnaire that has a total of 69. The participants were 52 teachers of different educational levels. The study show that the most common problems of virtual teaching consists in: internet connectivity, motivation and adaptability to new teaching and learning scenarios. With the teachers' perceptions, a range of topics is opened that are not taken into account to develop educational regulations and yet are required to have an emergency educational plan in situations such as the one humanity is experiencing today. Teachers' perceptions allow the study of issues that are not taken into account to develop educational regulations that are necessary to have an emergency educational plan in situations like the one humanity is experiencing today.
