Abstract:

This research is developed in the face of the existing problem of lack of care and respect for the biodiversity of the city of Zamora, it has been determined that there are large green areas that have not been adequately addressed due to ignorance of the population of The importance of having an adequate ecological balance, it is for this reason that it is important to analyze the perception of the population about how they appreciate the environmental social reality of the environment in which they live, it is thus that the population is analyzed through a survey of 389 people who answered closed questions in which the perception of the socio-environmental reality in which the citizenship is developed is identified; According to the results presented it is determined that the knowledge of various environmental issues is scarce on the part of the citizens, so they also consider that in order to maintain an adequate lifestyle it is necessary to have all the comforts, regardless of maintaining and respecting the environment, So it is recommended socialization and education to the population in environmental issues
