Perfil familiar de los niños y niñas con trastornos de aprendizaje, en una muestra, de las escuelas de la ciudad de Cuenca
Abstract:
School performance majorly depends on the family environment; this is demonstrated by the following study that associates the familial profile and the learning profile of school children of the city of Cuenca. The results obtained in this study have permitted the comparative analysis of two samples: one of children from a public school "Gabriel Cevallos Garcia" more socially depressed and resource constraints, in counterpart with one of the school "NuestraFamilia" of a private type and with certain advantages compared to the other sample. However, the statistical analysis has permitted the revelation that the two groups have similar difficulties when it comes to family issues related to the organization, structure, emotional climate and familial dynamics that are the product of relationships. Rather, we found differences in the resources available to satisfy the basic needs. This therefore signifies that a slightly higher income in some cases and very differentiated in others, does not exempt the families of problems such as: not feeling loved, being understood and having emotional security product of the acceptance, support, communication and solidarity among its members. Hence we leave for discussion the idea that the only real necessity is that of material resource, that this is the essential element in assuring the welfare of a family, and put in a prominent place in the urgency to help personal, familial and emotional development as a stabilizing, educational agent of familiar malfunction.
