Phlébotomes d’Equateur: deux nouvelles espèces du genre Evandromyia (Diptera, Psychodidae)

Abstract:

Ecuadorian sand-flies: two new species of the genus Evandromyia (Diptera, Psychodidae). Two new species of Phlebotominae from primeval Amazonian rainforest, belonging to genus Evandromyia, are described and illustrated, only from males. E. hashiguchii sp. n., belonging to subgenus Aldamyia, is very close to E. sericea and E. andersoni, but can be separate by a discrete modification of the apex of genital filaments. E.(Evandromyia) ledezmaae sp. n. belongs to series infraspinosa, and is close to the Amazonian widely distributed E. infraspinosa. Both are strictly wet-forest species and non anthropophilic.
