Phosphatase and urease actvity in groundnut soils as influenced by selected fungicides
Abstract:
Two fungicides tridemorph and captan, concentrations ranging from 0 to 10 kg ha-1, were treated for their nontarget effects towards the activity of phosphatase and urease in two Indian soils. In soil samples receiving 2.5 and 5.0 kg ha-1 of the fungicides, the activity of phosphatase and urease was significantly more at 20 days interval, and decreased progressively with increasing period of incubation up to 30 and 40 days. © Global Science Publications.
