Plan de Manejo Ambiental del relleno sanitario del GAD Municipal del cantón Pedro Carbo.

Abstract:

The main objective of this work was the elaboration of the Environmental Management Plan (PMA) of the Landfill of the Municipal GAD of Pedro Carbo, its objectives are to raise information about the current situation of the municipal dump, identify and evaluate possible impacts and risks environmental issues that will be produced, determine environmental aspects derived from the construction activity, operation and closure of the project, define and elaborate a timetable for the execution of activities that the WFP should have the same that are intended to prevent, mitigate and eliminate. To reach these objectives, a diagnosis of the current situation was made through the Leopold Matrix, interpreting the results with the creation of a Cause -Effect Matrix. It was considered to elaborate an Environmental Management Plan that contains techniques of prevention and mitigation of impacts through the implantation of environmental programs establishing corrective actions and environmental conservation of the area.
