Abstract:
This graduation paper has the goal to research the acceptance of the shot beverage, 5 Hour Energy, in today Quito market. It also looks forward getting to know the reasons of the positive or negative outcome of the acceptance of the beverage. The price of this shot type drink is high, if you compare it to drinks that are bigger in size and other energy drinks found locally, which makes very difficult to compete based on the price. The drink most likely would have an important acceptance in the proposed market but its marketing must have a differentiation strategy based on the products most attractive and important features. Such features are, it contains 4 calories, zero sugar, hours of energy with no crash later, and great portable, convenient size and above all feel the effect felt in just minutes. To reach the main goal which is obtaining acceptance for the drink in Quito market you need to be specific in the results you want to get. The target market which was determined will be in charge of the sales growths, which are the working adults with a lot of work load under the age of 45, the college students of majors that require a lot of study time, trekking and mountain sports people, and the cab drivers who work the night shift...
