Plan de mejoramiento para la constructora Sweet Home
Abstract:
The present strategic plan was made to direct and improve the performance of Sweet Home, which builds houses in Quito since 2011. The analyzer instruments PEST and Porters Five Forces were used to determinate the factors that could affect construction industry. Also an internal audit was made to evaluate each activity of the value chain. All this allowed to identify the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses, and threats of the company. The matrixes SWOT, EFI, EFE, IE, Competitive Profile and the Great Strategy were used to formulate strategies that help to lower the weaknesses, to employ strengths to take advantage of the opportunities and to offset the threats that affect the company. Annual objectives pointing to accomplish the long term objective were set, in order to achieve these objectives, the most suitable strategies, from the ones formulated on the previous stage, were selected and the tactics explaining how to put them into practice were established. Furthermore, a Balance Score Card was developed to measure the performance of the company and the progress on achieving its objectives. Finally, a finance analysis was executed allowing to have a projected vision of the company in terms of money. This study revealed that Sweet Home will improve its efficiency increasing the shareholders profits
