Abstract:

This study is focused on the development of an improvement plan for Schryver del Ecuador S.A., an international logistic company that operates in Ecuador for more than 25 years. A relevant aspect of this study is that strategic management tools are deployed not only from a theoretical point of view, but also from a practical perspective. The strategies here proposed were developed based on results obtained from the internal and external analysis conducted as well as from the market research undertaken. In order to delineate an effective plan that can be successfully implemented in reality, in addition to the opinion of current and potential customers, the opinion from experts in the field as well as from employees was also considered.
