Abstract:

“Fruta Madre” juices are a brand new concept made from the elaboration and production of natural juices. Fruta Madre focuses on its commercialization in some of the main commercial centers of the city, implied by means of islands throughout these centers. The biggest and main product differentiation is its hermetically sealed packaging, one which is sealed by a sealing machine, which later joins the plastic cup with heat having a plastic sheet on top. The main function of container is to be able to store the juice and consume it at any time, since the first simple step to enjoying the juice is introducing a special sorbet into the juice sealing, which adapts to the day of people who visit malls. In order to prepare the product, it is very important that fresh fruits are used, these have different varieties (traditional or non-traditional) so that customers can have new varieties that are rarely used in the current market. The product can be sweetened with natural low-calorie sweeteners such as Stevia since many customers have this preference over normal sugar for their juices. After analyzing the investigation, the conclusion is that there is no company that provides this innovating service in the city, although there exist many substitute products in the beverage market, none of them have the same qualities as these juices. The project will be starting in two locations, one located in Quicentro and the other one in CCI mall, with two people working locally as it is a quick and simple process. To start this business, an initial investment of $ 27,834.77 is needed. After the financial evaluation, a VAN of $60,180.31 and a TIR of 34.91percent were obtained, which shows that the project is viable.
