Abstract:

The purpose of this document is to determine the feasibility and financial viability of the establishment of an avocado oil production plant in the Guayllabamba Parish of the City of Quito. The idea of the project arises from an initiative to offer a healthy option for the preparation of fried foods or salads, with less saturated fatty acids that allows people to prevent diseases caused by this type of fats. The study reveals the characteristics of avocado: more natural fatty acids good for health, source of vitamins. Since the project is in line with the Governments plan, in order to change the productive matrix, it allows the use of incentives such as support for small producers to enter supermarkets, deduction of 100% from income tax on expenses incurred in research And innovation. It is necessary to emphasize the commitment that the National Government has shown with the industry, with projects that promote the implementation of projects with greater added value, so there are projects aimed at this objective such as the so-called agribusiness and employment law, in which they speak of flexible cbkp_redit, and advice throughout the production chain. From the qualitative and quantitative research it was determined that the most important factor when buying an oil is the brand, followed by the nutritional benefits. Leaving last to the price factor. From the information gathered from the customer, the most suitable advertising for this segment was determined: advertising on billboards, buses, magazines, facebook and sponsorship of athletes of the race Ultimas Noticias. The company will be constituted as one-person limited liability company with a General Manager as sole partner.
