Abstract:

The business plan below is developed taking into account the growing trend in health care in Ecuador and given that cosmetic products are essential in the daily life of women. The company is focused on the manufacture and subsequent commercialization of cosmetic creams made with the oil of the Amazonian Sacha Inchi, which has properties like Omega 3, 6 and 9, specifically for facial skin care. Through the different techniques of market research, it was determined that more than 94% of women in the city of Quito consume cosmetic creams, where they can find a great opportunity to commercialize a national product in the main pharmacies competing along with recognized brands, through differentiation achieving as a product of quality in content and presentation. The marketing mix of marketing strategies, where we mainly analyzed: the price; suppliers of the raw material; the convenient distribution channel (in this case a long channel); the attributes of the product for its differentiation as the Packaging and design; and finally the introductory promotional strategies as launch events and promotional samples that enhance the arrival of the product in the hands of the consumer. From the financial plan, you can examine the depth of the business idea to perform an estimated sales analysis within the first five years of operation at any time, get a positive scenario as far as profitability and return on investment. The financial result of the business plan determines that it is feasible because the Net Present Value is greater than zero, in this case, $ 8.132,29 and the Internal Rate of Return is higher than the discount rate, with a percentage of 27.96%.
