Abstract:

With the proposal to create the home help services company "Ecuamur", in the city of Riobamba, it is intended to provide assistance to the elderly, people who over the years are left alone and require assistance in their basic needs. The objective of this work is to determine the commercial and financial feasibility of the home help business; considering that the care and management of the health of the older adult becomes a difficult problem to deal with because of the limited infrastructure available and the lack of knowledge. The proposal presents the following types of services: medication, taking vital signs, arranging a home, accompanying; all this with trained personnel and with accessible costs. For execution, an initial investment of 86,302.11 dollars is required, with the financial analysis a NPV of 168,650.70 dollars is obtained and the internal rate of return TIR of 16.86%, higher than the interest rate prevailing in the year national financial market and the recovery of the investment in 2 years 9 months, thus being a feasible proposal
