Abstract:

The business plan for the production and export of soursop and moringa energy bars is composed of a thorough analysis of external factors and the industry. This product can be used as a coadjuvant to the treatment of breast cancer in the Danish market. The aim of this project is to analyse how profitable are the energy bars in this market. A contract will be made for 5 years for the delivery of energy bars with Nutramino, the main customer. This company has 16 years of experience in the Danish market and has achieved a high growth in consumption of organic products. Their main consumers are women with breast cancer and athletes. Regarding the analysis of the client, two segments are analysed so that the project is profitable in the short term. Quantitative tools are used such as surveys for potential consumers. Interviews are held with experts about health. These methods focus on determining preferences of clients and tastes. Product’s marketability can be assessed with this data. Resources must be set to produce and export energy bars focused on satisfying women with breast cancer and athletes. These bars fight against any disease because of their components. One of the main ingbkp_redients is guanabana. This fruit prevents the formation of cancer cells and moringa due to its high content of vitamins, proteins and minerals. The marketing plan contains the strategies of internationalization, and the analysis of the factors of marketing mix (product, price, place and promotion). Nutramino will be the company that will develop the marketing. This is because they know their line of sales and their experience in the market allows them to know what strategies and how to venture into it. The last component of the current project is the financial analysis. The business plan has been projected for 5 years. The investment required for this project is $ 75,142.22. It will be financed with 60% equity. The remaining 40% will be sponsored through a financial institution at 60 months terms with an annual interest rate of 11.83 %. Finally, the economic feasibility of executing the project is determined based on the financial analysis. The results demonstrate $ 956,779.16 NPV and 40.12% TIR. The results suggest the viability of the exporting company due to its attractive financial results.
