Plan económico para la producción y comercialización de cacao fino de aroma en pasta en un centro de acopio del cantón Atacames, provincia de Esmeraldas, año 2015
Abstract:
This work introduces the economic plan for the production and marketing of fine cocoa of "pasta" aroma through the modernization and innovation of the organizational, financial, and physical infrastructure elements of the "collection center of Atacames county in the province of Esmeraldas" (APROCA). A market research was performed among the population of small and medium producers, checking existing infrastructure, studying the processing plant, analyzing the borrowing and investment capacity and the implementation of financial ratios. All of these items facilitated this study and supported the feasibility of this economic plan. With this extra value added to the production of cocoa in the area, the members of the collection center will benefit, and the interest in the production of cocoa will increase as a result of the attractiveness of the economic returns and the benefits of bringing a semifinished product to the market. The economic plan will allow the area to take advantage of their true capabilities, and given the importance of the project, APROCA will be set as the standard of the collection centers among the province with an expected nationwide growth, increasing the percentage of this product in the country´s trade balance.
