A Regioselective Acylation of N-Substituted-4-Aminoindole. Its Application to the Synthesis of Indolactam V

Abstract:

Optically active (-) Indolactam V (1) was formally synthesized with the defined stereochemistry, through an efficient procedure via bromationlithiation in the 3-position of the indole ring using 2,6-dinitrotoluene and the aminoacids: D-serine and D-valine as starting materials.
