Plasma rico en plaquetas (PRP) en la cicatrización del tejido mucoso postextraccion


Abstract:

Currently the Platelet Rich Plasma PRP has become a research topic, by the excellent results of tissue regeneration, most investigations are based on bone regeneration, this monitoring is done in order to compare that results offer us in soft tissues, regarding healing. After extracting incomplete third molars eruption, where incisions to approach was minimally invasive, a sample of 10ml of blood from the patient is taking, it was centrifuged, the PRP was applied to one of the tooth socket, a membrane oxidized cellulose I was used as plug and sutured. In the postoperative period of 5 days, the mucosal tissue in which PRP was used is in better condition without any inflammation unlike tissue wherein not use more than the standard protocol, after 8 days, the tissue mucosal surface was already healed by 50% while the other 30%. The PRP due to the high content of growth factors, helps us to accelerate the healing process and prevent tissues to swell
