Politización de la Educación Superior en Ecuador: Mujeres Indígenas Y Acceso

Abstract:

In the light of Charles Tilly's approaches, I will conduct an analysis of the incidence of the monopolization of opportunities that indigenous women have when they access university. I will make a description of several statistics at the national level to question the absence of indigenous women in access to higher education and understand how the problem of access (or not) to college explains inequality. In this line of discussion, I will emphasize the definition of inequalities and how it influences the hoarding of opportunities to identify categorical pairs, and to know how the issue of women's participation in communities helps the process of networking and access to college.
