Abstract:

The following research conducted in the "León Becerra" Hospital of Guayaquil aims inquiry and explanation drugs, their origin, production process, its sale, consumption patterns, and affects its use in the short and long term, mentioned mainly the impact these have on both comprehensive and expressive language. The main causes of inquiry are high rates of drug use in children and youth of our country, especially H, a substance which is not only highly addictive but can also be fatal. The study focuses on patients 10 to 14 years because it is the population most at risk of consumption. To obtain this work it was possible to establish direct contact with young people who currently recovering in this nursing home who mentioned that drug use starts primarily by the need to feel accepted in certain social circles, because their homes are in conflict or simply because this drug is lower cost than previously as the most consumed marijuana. Other sources of information are books, medical articles, laws, magazines, reports, surveys and statistics conducted by the INEC or other entities consultation. This work found that consumers mostly unaware that the drug heroin H also contains substances harmful to your health. It is intended to collect data for use in the awareness of the population in addition to the prevention of drug use intervention to be performed between parents, teachers and authorities, the legal protection that is provided to people who have addictive behaviors such as the for programs of rehabilitation and reintegration into society offered for free by the Ecuadorian State for compliance with the Sumak Kawsay (Plan of Good Living)
