Pre-programmed navigation of trajectories of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) applied to on-line monitoring and transmission of air quality
Abstract:
Unmanned aerial vehicles, UAVs do not have a pilot on board and can be controlled by an operator on the ground, this research is focused on the trajectory tracking control for four-rotor UAV remotely; in particular for commercial prototype called Phantom 3 DJI manufactured by Chinese. The proposed control strategy validates the autonomous flight of a pre-programmed experimentally applied from kinematic model trajectory. It integrates the UAVs intelligent sensors that allow the collection of information on air quality. This monitor climate variables and gaseous pollutants from the environment present in a given path. The design allows to incorporate new sensors to identify levels of gases and other pollutants in critical areas.
