Predominant Components of the Trust Models in E-learning Environments

Abstract:

The trust models (TM) play an important role in making the decision to rely on unknown participants role when there is a high level of uncertainty about the good or bad performance thereof. Currently, there is no study on what should be minimal components that must be considered to design new TM. As the main objective of this work was to analyze the TM in environments of e-learning and Virtual Learning Communities (VLC). In this work identified three common components in the TM analyzed: fiability, similarity and satisfaction, in addition, the components of satisfaction and fiability are the most predominant the TM and the similarity component is few used in the TM.
