Prevalencia de hemoparásitos (Trypanosoma spp, Anaplasma spp, Babesia spp.) En tres núcleos productores bovinos, de la parroquia de santa rosa, cantón el Chaco, provincia del Napo


Abstract:

The current research is intended to determine prevalence of hemoparasites in three bovine breeding cores, in Santa Rosa parish, Napo province, including identification of parasites. 55 samples were assessed by using two techniques: in situ blood smear, obtained from a marginal vein of the ear and a blood smear made in the laboratory, using blood samples taken from the coccygeal vein, sent in 4.5 ml test tubes with anticoagulant (EDTA). Through an in situ smear, it was determined that 69.10% of sampled animals in surveyed farms showed hemoparásitos, distributed as follows: Babesia bigemina 43.6%, Anaplasma marginale 20% and mixed infections 5.5%, where a significant difference was found p greater than 5 (2.919) with a higher prevalence of babesia in front of anaplasma...
