Results: In the results of the research we have observed that the prevalence of the IAAS in the NICU area of the Francisco Icaza Bustamante Hospital show high figures, 40.3% of the 228 cases found were pathologies acquired during the hospitalization of the newborn in that area. Conclusion: We can conclude that the objectives of this titration work were demonstrated and with the statistics provided by the hospital we have confirmed our hypothesis, because in the absence of IAAS research in the area of NICU with the rates found during 2016, we observed that this age group shows a large number of cases 92 as well as a high risk of mortality.
