Prevalencia de riesgo psicosocial en el personal administrativo y operativo del seguro social campesino del Azuay

Abstract:

The evolution in the work environment generates competitive conditions, which generate physical and mental wear on the employees. In this environment, risky situations arise that threaten the health and work environment of employees. Thus, the present work seeks to determine the prevalence of psychosocial risks existing in the administrative and operational staff of the Azuay Rural Social Security, involving 143 workers, of whom 22 are administrative and 121 are operational. The SUSESO / ISTAS 21 questionnaire was applied, along with another instrument to gather sociodemographic data. The test results showed that employees maintain a high risk incidence of more than 50% in the dimensions of social support in the company, compensation and double presence. With the statistical analysis it was determined that there are significant correlations between age and dimensions such as social support (p = 0.03), compensations (p = 0.027) and double presence (p = 0.015). In addition, the statistical correlation of the seniority of employees with the dimensions of: social support (p = 0.05), compensation (p = 0.03) and double presence (p = 0.036) is evident. Finally, statistical relationships between the work area and the dimensions of: active work and skills development (0.008), social support (p = 0.036), and double presence (p = -0.002) were identified. With this information, recommendations and strategies applicable in the entity were structured, which seek to reduce the incidence of risk in the dimensions with the greatest impact.
