Prevalencia de tuberculosis en pacientes con VIH, del Hospital de Infectología "Dr. José Daniel Rodríguez Maridueña" años 2016 de la ciudad de Guayaquil.

Abstract:

Introduction: HIV infection has led to an increase in the incidence of Tuberculosis. “Dr. José Daniel Rodríguez Maridueña" Infectology Hospital- is a landmark sanitary institution of national reference for infectious and contagious diseases, where over 70% of admitted patients belong to those infected with HIV; thus to determine the impact on mortality of patients with HIV that tuberculosis represents is relevant in order to maintain the standards of national sanitary care. Aim: Specify the prevalence of Tuberculosis coinfection in patients with HIV admitted to the Hospital of Infectious Diseases "Dr. José Daniel Rodríguez Maridueña "during the 2016 period and its impact on morbidity and mortality. Method: We carry out an observational, descriptive, retrospective and analytic study all patients who were graduates and diagnosed with Tuberculosis in 2016.
