Prevalencia y factores pbkp_redictores de parto vaginal poscesárea, centro obstétrico del Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso, Cuenca 2010
Abstract:
OBJECTIVE: To determine prevalence and pbkp_rediction factors of vaginal delivery post-cesarean section in pregnant women who goes to the department of gin-obstetrics at the hospital “Vicente Corral Moscoso.” MATERIAL AND METHODS. Study of transverse type in pregnant patients with previous cesarean section between 19 and 35 years old admitted in the department of gin-obstetrics at the Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso in the time period of December, 2010 to May, 2011. A sample has been obtained from 346 patients with previous history of a cesarean section. RESULTS. 47.4% had childbirth and 52.6% had to have a cesarean section executed again. The main indicator of iterative cesarean in the current pregnancy was for the patient avoiding to continue with childbirth labor test (43.4%). The normal nutritional state increases the probability of success at normal childbirth after a previous cesarean section. When there is at least 1 previous vaginal delivery, it increases the probability in 1.94 times of having a successful vaginal delivery after a previous cesarean section. CONCLUSION. The vaginal delivery in patient with previous cesarean section is considered safe and often successful in selected groups of women, with smaller morbid-mortality that the repeated chosen cesarean section
