Primary school teaching activities evaluating student comprehension in 'environmental economy'

Abstract:

Cross-curricular courses in Chemistry and Physics for Primary and Junior Secondary schools contain elements for a rational, viable and fair use of the economic elements of the environment. This work reports actual activities that were carried out in the framework of a Physics course in the 6th class of Primary School. It is preceded by an evaluation of pupils opinions with regard to the subject of environmental economy. The evaluation was repeated immediately after the activities and again after one month so that we could conceive each change in the thinking of the students in questions with regard to environmental economy. The results were positive and we observed a change of behaviour in the students in obligatory subjects with questions of environmental economy.
