Principios aplicables a la interpretación del convenio arbitral.

Abstract:

The purpose of this academic document is to identify the principles to be taken into consideration during the interpretation of the arbitration agreement. In order to fulfill this purpose, the first chapter will review what is the arbitration agreement, what is the meaning of interpreting it, and wh o is responsible for said interpretive work; and then, the second chapter will identify which principles are applicable or not to the interpretation of the arbitration agreement, in attention to its conventional nature and its particularities as a contract, with special emphasis on the sense that the principle favor arbitralis should be applied in the interpretation of the arbitration agreement.
