Principles of the semantic web and affective computing in a sustainable ecotourism through the development of educational web application

Abstract:

The Web has become a necessary resource for daily use, the benefits it offers, as it is a source of knowledge and collaboration, giving rise to new initiatives such as linked data, whose purpose is to link the data scattered through the Web through relationships semantics among these. This article shows the principles of the semantic web and its applicability in the contexts of ecotourism and educational. The application was developed by students of web programming course of the International University of Ecuador in the framework of the research project of affective computing and tools of the cloud as an educational contribution to the improvement of the programming skills.
