Prioritization: A Double-Edged Sword?

Abstract:

In summary, we recognize and acknowledge the benefits of being able to prioritize your CWA approach to have a more efficient design process and successful design. We think there are alternatives to prioritization by frequency that may be more in keeping with the intentions of CWA and the need to retain support for unanticipated events. We would encourage further discussion on this matter, as all efforts to generate better decision support and better designs are worthwhile and challenge us to look at our ideas and practice more deeply.
