Proceso de atención de enfermería en lactante de 8 meses de edad con desnutrición.

Abstract:

The work presented below deals with the analysis of a pathology in an infant with malnutrition, in which his current illness for which he presents decompensation is evaluated. The main objective is the execution of the nursing care process in an 8-month-old infant with malnutrition. The methodology used for this work is the nursing care process through the personal assessment of the patient and obtaining data from the clinical history, in addition to the bibliographic review for the elaboration of the theoretical framework. The results obtained are: the nursing care process is applied in a timely manner, and the interventions are adequate. Results are obtained regarding their nutritional status, there was acceptance with the intake of food and nutrients, in the second process of nursing care we had as results regarding the hydration of the patient, their intake of liquids and administration of intravenous liquids not was compromised since there was acceptance in the patient. In our last nursing care process regarding the results of her respiratory status, with a slight deviation from the normal range, favorable results were obtained, regarding the Likert scale without deviation from the normal range. It is expected that this work will be a source of bibliographic review for research related to the subject.
