Análisis del comportamiento de los cinturones de seguridad en base a la edad de los pasajeros de furgonetas de transporte escolar de la zona urbana del cantón de Cuenca

Abstract:

This Technical project makes a comparison between the results obtained from the simulation using a dummy. The evaluated scenarios include the frontal and side impact and each of these with the use of two seat belt attachment points and three-point seat belt restraint. The results show that the use of three-point belt causes less damage with respect to the use of two-point belt except for the lower back in the side impact.
