Abstract:

The current work is focused on the investigation of the behavior of the product life cycle of the manufacturing companies of the C.I.I.U C-17 sector, paper manufacturing and paper products. For this, it focuses on quantifying the number of companies in Ecuador, according to their size belonging to the sector, knowing the types of waste they generate, estimating the carbon footprint, and then segregating this information at zone 8 level, these being Guayaquil, Durán and Samborondón, to know what the environmental goals already established in the country are. Because the purpose of this study is to promote the opening of a field of information where each company generally details the environmental sustainability they carry, this being useful for future research and for generating environmental business competitiveness, since it will motivate them to carry out their activities with greater social responsibility, therefore, the environmental impact generated by its processes will be minimized.
