Producción de un documental fotográfico sobre la cestería en la parroquia San Joaquín

Abstract:

Basket makers called "cesteros" from San Joaquin parish are characterized by their skilled hands that weave plant fibers such as "duda" and "suro", shaping in this way their worldview in each basket they make. For this reason, a study of the names of the techniques used in the weaving as well as the meaning of the colors used was performed. In addition, 64 basketry products are cataloged.
