Producción del single Infecto Ser de la banda Cadaverous

Abstract:

In the present thesis work, the production of the single Infecto Ser from the band Cadaverous was done, trying to capture all the energy and rebel approach of the Thrash Metal genre, using the knowledge acquired throughout the career. A key point in this project was the intense analysis of the song in its starting form, that was later altered in tempo, tonality and musical arrangements that added a more technical touch to the to the final recording of the song. A schedule of activities was made, with specific objectives each day, including rehearsals, recording days, reunions and mixing days, which allowed to work in an orderly and effective way throughout the entire project. In the recording and mixing stage, the use of digital equipment was avoided as much as possible, especially in the guitar and bass, which were recorded using completely analog pedals, to give a warm and more natural sound, trying to emulate the sound of classic Thrash and Groove Metal bands that recorded their records in a completely analogical way. For the graphic art of the project, Ricardo Mera of Inspire Fall Designs was hired, with whom several meetings were held to define the graphic concept and which matches the emotional objective of the theme. At the end of the project, it is concluded that to carry out a professional production, everything must be defined from the beginning, work in order with a schedule and know how to handle interpersonal relations with the client.
