Producción musical del tema Ay Ay Ay del artista Acido MC

Abstract:

The project described below explains the musical production of the song Ay Ay Ay composed by the Ecuadorian artist rap interpreter “AcidoMC”, with a team formed by a beatmaker, a bass player and a percussionist, joint together with the objective to record and produce a rap music theme by fusing digital and analogues instruments to achieve a sonority that shares the same characteristics of the reference theme. The audio editor used for this purpose is Logic Pro; the tempo of the song is set to 90 BPMs, with a composition of 4/4. The added values offered by the use of real instruments such as bass and percussion, especially bongoes and the digital effects that are incorporated, is evident throughout the production result. This guide to the production of a hip hop theme aims to highlight the work behind the creation of a beat, the development of a lyric and a different sound, based on the musical criteria of the producer and the characteristics of the style, which involves the correct operation of analog and digital systems. The result can be conceived as a competitive musical product within the current scene, which is much more integral and implies the projection of the identity and the design of the image of the artist as such. The final product denotes a great interaction of all the instruments that appear in the production. At the end, it was a question of creating a beat that is directly involved with the lyrics that the artist exposes and that the audience could feel identified with all the channels of communication used in the production. The song generated comments on social media that link this production with the reference band which represents to the entire production team an achievement and a success, particularly in the face of the distribution of this single on all digital platforms.
