Producción musical del tema El Regreso de la banda Síderal

Abstract:

The purpose of this work is to present the musical production of the song “El Retorno” of the Síderal band, as a thesis of the career of Superior Technician in Recording and Musical Production of the University of the Americas. The production of the song was worked at the same time with the band, a song written by the composer and member of the band Juan Jarrin, the song explain a message about the people has old age. A meticulous work was done on the style of the song, to look for the sounds and colors that are characterized by alternative rock, taking as a reference groups like Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Circa Survive, Wolfgang Muthspiel. The recording of the final theme was made at a studio that fulfilled the sound characteristics of the musical genre, with the collaboration and experience as a technical assistant of Pablo Verduga, the appropriate equipment was searched for the recording process using the techniques learned throughout of the musical production career. The work team was joined by argentine composer and arranger Fran Laurito, who identified the sound that the band was looking for, collaborating with the choirs and performing the bass. The mix of the theme was oriented by a kind of music and bands already mentioned, which looks for a simple sound, but with a great message and clean interpretation in their instruments.
