Abstract:

Musical production is the set of processes that encompass Pre Production, Production and Post-Production these stages are carried out through technical and practical knowledge to be able to carry out a project. The fundamental part of production is the research, this part of the project is the key to achieving a good product and to acquire knowledge on issues related to production can achieve a faster and more professional work result. The Pre-Production is a stage in which processes such as the creation of tentative budgets and schedules of activities are performed, in this way one can organize the schedules of each person who will be participating in the project and also can establish a monetary range for the expenses that will be carried out throughout the Production stage. It should be emphasized that in this part of the project, meetings are held with the artist and musicians to determine the genre and emotional meaning of the subject. The Production is one of the most important parts since processes are carried out such as the recording of the instruments and the artistic design of the disc, the recording must take into account factors such as the microphones being used. The instruments that will contribute to the sound according to the genre in addition to the image that the artist wants to give him through disc art. The Post Production is the part in which the details of the subject are worked since at this stage errors must be corrected found in the production stage. It is determined which tracks are best use for the final product that allow for one to choose effects that go with the genre. With this, the final disc will be determined. In summary, the subject is prepared in a technical way using digital and analog tools so that it can finally be delivered to the artist.
