Productive yield of pennisetum sp. With several levels of humic substances plus a rooting base

Abstract:

An the Province of Chimborazo, Riobamba canton, the evaluation of the forage productive behavior of Pennisetum sp. (maralfalfa) applying several levels of humic substances (4, 5, 6 l / ha) plus a rooting base (3 l / ha) in the soils of the Facultad de Ciencias Peuarias, to be compared with a control treatment, research it lasted 60 days. The data obtained were analyzed under a Completely Random Design, with 5 repetitions, the TUE was 10 m2, for the comparison of means the Tukey statistic (P≤0.01) and (P≤0.05) was applied; In turn, a regression and correlation analysis was performed using the statistical program SPSS Statistic version 19. When observing the experimental results for the plant height variable at 15, 30 and 60 days, no statistical differences were recorded. The best yields of green fodder and dry matter were obtained with T3. The highest profitability was registered by the fertilized plots with T3, reaching a benefit / cost of 1.72. Therefore, the use of T3 is recommended because the best production yields, lower production costs and better profitability have been recorded.
