Producto audiovisual sobre la importancia del cine memoria en los archivos de la cinemateca nacional del Ecuador´ Ulises Estrella
Abstract:
The preservation of the archives placed in the institution called Cinemateca Nacional Del Ecuador, dates back to 1981, in which key pieces were sheltered, to show Ecuadorian cinema, from various perspectives and showing how a society has been built, in the initiation foreigners told the cinematographic beginnings of Ecuador, until there is national production. Audiovisually much of the memory of Ecuador, was disseminated from spaces like the place named Consulta Pública, among others, collaborating with a construction of film memory that continues to the present. Thanks to preservation processes, through key tapes, conflicts and events within Ecuadorian society are exposed from the 60s to the present. In this research we will present the information collected about the historical memory that was studied according to its importance within our society. For them we consider it it is considered of great importance to work with the same audiovisual pieces archived in the National Cinematheque that keep a record of everyday events that show an Ecuadorian of the early twentieth century with his qualities of the time, with the help of interviews with the same workers and directors of several Ecuadorian productions, a documentary was produced that shows the importance of memory film in the archives of the National Cinematheque.
