Abstract:

The product for degree “The influence of phubbing on interpersonal relations in students from the north-central sector of Quito” It arises with the idea of showing, through an educommunicative report, a social reality related to the excessive use of new information and communication technologies and the impact on social relations in university students. When we talk about the excessive use of these technologies, it is specifically referred to in mobile telephony or tablets that, although they are useful instruments when exercising communication or other recreational activities, they have also caused face-to-face relationships to deteriorate. The guidelines used in the research focus on communication and citizenship. This will allow analyzing participation, behavior and forms of communication from the spaces in which young people interact. With this, the intention of this communicative proposal is to make visible the impact of the use of information and communication technologies on university students, through exploratory and testimonial research that makes it possible to visualize Phubbing and its influence from university and family spaces.
