Professional Skills for the Administration Career with a Higher Technological Level
Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to validate the professional skills necessary for the technologist who graduated in the administration career of the José Chiriboga Grijalva Technological Institute of Higher Education as part of the curricular redesign process of a said career in compliance with the regulations issued by the Education Council. Superior of Ecuador. The focus group technique was used and applied to two groups of professionals in the area: the first group was made up of seven teachers who work teaching specialization subjects in the administration career at the institute, and the second group was made up of six academics and external professionals who work in the business field and prestigious local universities and institutes. According to the results, the participants ranked the professional skills in order of importance for the career, which will allow training of administration professionals with a technological level who support the execution of the administrative process with a systemic approach and vision.
