Faced with this technological irruption, the media converge to the digital ecosystem, modifying the profile and practices of communicators. This research aims to describe the professional routines of journalists who work in Ecuadorian newspapers in the context of mobile journalism. The methodology is of two types: quantitative, through a survey applied to journalists, and qualitative through the techniques of. interview directed to the digital editors and the content analysis of the curricular meshes of Ecuadorian universities that offer the careers of communication and journalism. The results point to new formats and technological tools for content production, as well as new journalistic dynamics where professionals must flexibly engage in collaborative and multidisciplinary work.
