Profile of scholarly-scientific research on organizational memory

Abstract:

The purpose of this paper is to map out the profile of scholarly-scientific research on organizational memory. Thus, bibliometric techniques were applied following three phases: (i) data collection, (ii) data analysis and, (iii) data synthesis and representation. In total, 448 scholarly studies were found, indexed at ISI Web of Science (WoS) Database. These studies were written by 800 authors, affiliated to 374 institutions of 45 different countries. Moreover, this study offers several inputs to future research on the subject, contributing to a deeper understanding of the organizational memory field at the international level.
