Programa de vigilancia de la salud en prevención de riesgos biológicos en los profesionales de Enfermería del Distrito 12D01 Babahoyo.

Abstract:

The development of programs of healthin the preventive scope and direct care to the population, implies the majority participation and it jeopardize of a sector of professionals that in spite of the limitations in economic, physical, technological, legal and cultural aspects, contributes considerably to profits until now obtained in the field epidemiologist of the health this is treatment, control pursuit, rehabilitation, prevention. The execution of actions (shares), plans, programs and systems of attention in units of health of different levels of complexity, expose the executors to one without number of risks, of which in this investigation (research) we will approach the biological risks. Of the workers of health, it is the personnel of infirmary (nursing), which is subject to major exhibition, since they are those who realize the direct care of the patient, the aim (lens) of the study is the analysis of risks, to establish the scope of knowledge, fulfillment of safety measures and the degree of labor accident danger to which they are subject. A descriptive, cross-sectional, cuali-quantitative study was realised, the universe conformed professionals of infirmary of units of health of the District 12D01 Babahoyo, that offer health primary care, was applied an investigation questionnaire on risks. The results, demonstrate that there is sub-registry of notification of accidents, that are developed practices in which it is not applied norms of bio-security, little grant and nonuse of protective equipment, the ignorance of prevention protocols and post-exhibition, programs of health monitoring. This determines that employers and workers do not apply an attitude of brings back to consciousness before risks, when eliminating dangerous practices in realized activities, and is found with formation of the professional from the university, diffusion of norms and protocols standardized for its application, will exist the firm certainty that this will contribute to the control and reduction of risks.
