Proposal for an IoT architecture for the administrative management of a university campus

Abstract:

Today, technology has become part of us, this is largely due to the integration of new technologies such as the Internet of Things, cloud computing and big data. This integration allows to improve the life and comfort of people, through smart devices that interact with people or the environment. By coupling these technologies to the needs of organizations, common problems are solved, such as the lack of effectiveness in administrative or technological processes. Universities, like organizations, depend on the management of various administrative processes that are responsible for managing their resources. This work seeks to establish an architecture that integrates the Internet of Things with the technological infrastructure of a university campus to improve administrative management through devices such as sensors and actuators.
