Propuesta de diseño de producto agroturístico "Rancho Borinquén" en el cantón El Empalme, provincia del Guayas.

Abstract:

The Provincial Government of Guayas has promoted through various campaigns, tourism with the correct use of the soil, environment and natural resources, providing a healthy and different alternative of tourism within the Ecuadorian territory. The main objective of this work is to propose an agrotourist product based on the Borinquén Ranch to generate main sources of income in the rural parish of El Rosario in the canton of El Empalme. As part of this work, a field and documentary study was developed, of a descriptive type and with a mixed approach. Two questionnaires were used: one applied to the inhabitants of the parish El Rosario and the other to national and foreign tourists whose aim was to find out their interest in this product and preferences. In addition, two interviews were conducted, one with the Vice-Mayor of El Empalme County and the other with a worker from Borinquén Ranch to support all the information gathered. Once the importance of the development of this agrotourist product became evident as a valuable option for the tourists who visit the area, and are interested in the knowledge of the agricultural process, we proceeded to the elaboration of the proposal that includes the design of the product, promotional media, beneficiaries, a budget and a chronogram.
