Análisis del desarrollo de la industria minera del Ecuador, período 2015-2019

Abstract:

The present research work consists of analyzing the development of the mining industry in Ecuador during the 2015-2020 period, since at present the mining industry has become a key element for the country's economy, especially targeting the exploitation of minerals, through the established projects, the research has a qualitative approach through the collection of information and secondary data obtained from the Central Bank of Ecuador, the respective statistical analysis was carried out through which the growth and the ups and downs that the mining sector has, the documentary research allowed to know the impact and current contribution of mining projects that is 0.6% of the gross value added, in addition to establishing the competitive factors of the sector, among which stood out the geological potential of the country and the social conflicts presented.
